Four years ago I began teaching high school journalism. With that responsibility came the year book. At first, this was a major hassle until
I watched my students as their photographic talents emerged. "Capturing the moment" soon began to take on new meaning to me. As their love for photojournalism developed and grew, so did mine.
Though I no longer teach, I still take photography seriously. This began to come about as I would post photos with Bible verses to friends and former teaching colleagues and friends to encourage them. They however have been the ones that have encouraged me with photography and perhaps using it as a source of income.
Presently, it is nature that has caught my photographic eye. It is nature that ministers to me and through it the Lord speaks to my heart and brings me joy. |

Nature Greeting Cards
I am an amateur photographer, and I enjoy living in the foot hills of Arkansas, with the natural surroundings it has to offer.
The natural world provides my canvas for so many wonderful frames, everywhere I look I see the simple beauty, and l love capturing the art of it one frame at a time.
Proust once said, “The real voyage of discovery
consist not of seeking new landscapes,
but in having new eyes.” I rather like his thought!
So nature, and natural scenics, trees, butterflies, leaves, critters, flowers, animals are all you will find here. No people, telephone poles, anything of our modern world.
The most of the human side you will see here are the country roads I enjoy so much that help me get to the destination I want to shoot.
I hope you enjoy brousing my cards, and enjoy the natural world as I capture it through my lens.
My photography has always been a very enjoyable hobby for me, but due to health reason I have not been able to work for some time, and I have come to count on it for income.
So I want to say here, a big thank you to all who have visited my store, and to all those who have purchased my work in the past, and to those that will in the future, a hardy thank you in advance.
I really appreciate you as a customer very much, and hope you will return often to brouse my work. I will be adding new cards often.

Hi, My name is Lynn Dobbins, and ever since I could pick up crayons and draw on the wall, I've been in love with art. My first professional show was at the tender age of four,I've exhibited in Los Angeles, New York and San Francisco. I now live with my two kids and two cats in the beautiful wine country of Temecula California.
Animals have also played a huge part in my choice of art subjects, Strays have been in and out of my place as long as I can remember. I started out as an equine artist painting portraits, will draw anything that walks,trots,gallops,slithers, swims or crawls. My medium of choice for the last 10 years has been pyrography, AKA woodburning a beautiful if unforgiving art medium, and one which I hope to continue to share with others., though I work in pretty much any medium available, oils, acrylics,pastels, ink,and airbrush.
I am a Proud Juried member of EBSQ Plus, and A member of I.A.P.A The International Association of Pyrographic Artists As well as Art 4 Critters a group of international artists dedicated to helping animals in need

Hello my name is Ruth Graydon. I have a BA in Fine Art from Birmingham University and an MA in Surface design also from Birmingham University. I started drawing and painting when I was a little girl. I loved to draw horses - wild, fiery horses with long flowing manes and tails! Over the years I developed my skills as an artist and I am happy to share my images with you now. My subject matter is much more serene now! I love nature and flowers, skies, and water feature prominently in my art themes. I also feel drawn to simple pleasures like porcelain tea cups, silverware, and fruits and vegetables. |
